SAFETY

Our teams attend an annual safety class taught by an independent OSHA Certified Instructor, where they learn procedures and protocols to make sure that every elevator we install, modify, or maintain meets the highest safety levels. They also attend monthly meetings to reinforce the information they learned in class. Our insurance company provides on-site spot inspections to safeguard that the quality is maintained.
MANDATED INSPECTIONS
All elevators are required to have Category One and Five tests performed as per NYC Construction Code to ensure the safety of passengers and the integrity of your system and building. Metropolitan Elevator Service Corp. is fully licensed with the NYC D.O.B to perform all required tests on commercial buildings and private residences.
Dumbwaiters, private residence, and special purpose elevators are not required to be witnessed by a third party independent inspector. For all other elevators, Metropolitan Elevator Service Corp. will work closely with your witnessing agency to ensure timely compliance throughout the testing process. With our expert testing team and diligent documentation, you can be confident that Metropolitan Elevator Service Corp. will protect the safety of your elevator and integrity of your business.
